How should I treat a toothache?
There are many causes of a toothache. Over the counter pain relief medication will often alleviate any discomfort and the pain should subside within a few hours.
If you have a toothache that is causing severe pain for more than 24 hours call and schedule an appointment as this may indicate an infection in the tooth root.
